A strong mind (MENTAL HEALTH) is the first weapon to help us achieve and win the battles we face in this journey of life. We live for a purpose and we have hopes, dreams and we set up goals that are meant to push us to the right direction. There are challenges that we come across in the midst of all the beautiful dreams and a good mental health will help us through all the obstacles. Read through to see how you can boost your mental strength casino malaysia

1.READ A LOT
Knowledge is a very powerful tool that sustains the mind, keeps it active and power charges it to stay in the motivated lane. With reading you learn everyday and can easily stumble across tools and ideas that will help you reach your dreams. I normally say knowledge is power but the real power is in making use of it. Choose the correct reading material, acquire knowledge and put it to good use.

2. DO NOT WORRY
Worry interferes with progress therefore instilling fear and doubt in your mind and the combination of all these is a weak mental state. Do not worry about what people say, do not worry about pleasing other people or how late you have started in life but focus only being progressive.

3. STOP COMPLAINING
Women and their whining, can we stop already? I don’t have time to do it. I don’t have the means or the power to do it. I am a single mother and blah blah blah. Then you continue complaining about others, jealous friends, colleagues, kids, partner & everything else. Does it make you feel exceptional? Does it fix anything? If you have time to sleep more than 8hours, take selfies, sit on social media, do your hair, nails and make up then how come you have no time to do something that will make you a successful person. Substitute complain with compliment, make time and get it done. Complaining makes you mentally weak and vulnerable.

3. EMBRACE CHANGE
Change is inevitable, nothing stays the same and this is where you have to accept the things you cant control; otherwise you will start draining your energy by complaining again. Stop focusing on how change will affect you negatively, welcome the new challenge. Start to embrace & find new opportunities out of the situation. During change flexibility and adaptability are the most important traits you should develop.

4. TAKE CALCULATED RISKS
Do not play it safe all the time because life is all about taking risks with everyday unexpected demands and crisis. Be smart about it and carefully assess the risks you are willing to take.

5. DON’T FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF
Emotions like this will take away your mental clarity, energy, enthusiasm, lowers your self esteem and moods. Maintain emotional wellness so to stay objective regardless of how you are feeling. Creativity will only flow if you are emotionally stable. Most importantly do not let others control your emotions.

6. BE PATIENT AND ENDURE
Do not expect immediate results and never stop trying until you get it right. There’s always a bigger room to grow and improve. Endurance mean you have to remain focused on the long term end goal and remain resilient during the pressures you will be facing without thinking of giving up after the first failure.

7. DON’T SHY AWAY FROM RESPONSIBILITY
Mistakes are part of the game as well as the unintended & unforeseen circumstances. Be courageous and take charge of situations. Don’t be hard on yourself as it is better to try because there will be great lessons learned.

8. KEEP YOUR STANDARDS
Don’t compromise your standards by keeping in mind that no tough situation is good enough reason to lower the bar.

9. CELEBRATE OTHER PEOPLE’S SUCCESS
Don’t not be envious of anyone’s achievement rather allow it to be a motivation of what you are going to achieve. Learn from those people and in the process be grateful of what you already have. Envy will push you to failure because you will rush things therefore making huge mistakes and you will surely start lowering the standards.

10. HAVE A STRONG SENSE OF DIRECTION
A deep sense of direction will help you to stand your ground and stay in you lane. You won’t be derailed by undetected twists.

11. SET LIMITS AND FOCUS ON ONE THING
Set your limits, stick with them and constantly check your milestones. Your limits must have a fair advantage on both your personal and professional life. To easily reach a target you need to focus on one task at a time. Multitasking might just make you leave behind too many unfinished tasks.

12. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK
Ask for absolutely anything that you need to, if you don’t know how to do things ask for help. If you are unsure about certain things ask for clarity and ask those who inspire you how they do things. It takes a mentally strong individual to understand & know that there is no stupid question and no matter how professional or most organised we are, We still don’t know It all. We ask either because we don’t know or We just need clarity. So ask ask ask & ask away!!!!!

13. SAY NO
It is more than okay to say no sometimes!!

Understand that to gain mental strength will demand change of some habits and daily practice. The ultimate outcome will be beautiful. This is also a great process to find yourself.
